EMILY PERRY

Emily Perry is a pianist, teacher, and composer in Bellingham, Washington, currently working towards her Masters in Collaborative Piano Performance under the instruction of Jeffrey Gilliam. Originally from Seattle, she began piano instruction at the age of four and was exposed to a wide range of musical arts through participation in jazz ensemble, orchestral youth symphonies and choirs. Her musical interests encompass a wide range of  genres and collaborative instrumental mediums.

She provides comprehensive music curriculum with respect to performance technique, aural skill, music theory, and strives to make lessons a fun and meaningful experience by focusing mainly on the learner’s musical interests.

Some of her favorite composers include Franz Liszt, Claude Debussy, and Johannes Brahms. Outside of school and teaching, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her hamster, Toast.
