Role at Bellingham Music:

Brass Instructor

Isaac Poole is a composer, educator, and multi-instrumentalist primarily specializing in jazz. He
is currently a graduate student at Western Washington University. After growing up in Seattle,
Washington, he studied Jazz Performance at The New School in New York City. He has been a
collaborator within numerous organizations and musical groups and has experience performing
live on stage and in recording sessions.

Despite primarily being a composer, Isaac is proficient in several instruments, including
trombone, piano, and trumpet. He has developed a keen skill for improvising and uses that skill
to drive his composing and educational aspirations. When he isn’t doing something related to
music, Isaac can usually be found working on computers or playing card games with friends.
