Lily Beagle

Viola and Violin lessons - Classical/Improvisation

“ I grew up receiving private lessons, the bonds I developed with my instructors inspired love for

my instrument, music and my community. Now that I am graduated I would love to help share

my love of music to ensure the community keeps growing! “

Lily Beagle is a violist, a Western Washington graduate with a degree in Music Performance,

and a professional musician. Lily is a member of the Bellingham Symphony and an active member of the local music scene, occasionally recording and playing live music with local bands, jazz combos, the Bellingham Chamber Chorale and chamber arrangements for the Circus Guild.

Lily began on Violin in the 4th grade when she joined her elementary school orchestra and first

started receiving private lessons in the 6th grade. She switched to Viola in the 7th grade. That

same year she auditioned for and was selected to join Mid-Columbia Youth Symphony. In the

9th grade the Hanford High School’s Chamber Orchestra, as well as their Symphony Orchestra.

While in high school Lily and a trio of friends founded the Hanford High School Quartet and

toured around the Elementary Schools in the area encouraging younger kids to get involved

with Music!

Lily also enjoys drawing, reading, playing DnD and connecting with her friends. Music is about

connection, whether it is with 50 people in an orchestra or with a friend playing on your porch. It

connects us to our community and helps us tap into our expressive, creative side. Lily believes

and wants to share that the discipline required to learn how to play music encourages critical

problem solving and deep listening.

Lily is thankful for the skills that she has attained after 16 years of playing and wants to share it with her community.
