MONICA MORTON

Role at Bellingham Music:  

Voice Instructor

 

Monica Morton is a singer and teacher in Bellingham, Washington, currently pursuing 

classroom certification through Western Washington University’s Bachelor of Music Education K-12 program. She began piano and voice instruction as a child in Olympia, and loves seeking out new musical experiences as a choir member and solo singer. She currently sings with WWU’s Concert Choir and Vocal Jazz ensembles, and continues her solo studies under the direction of Mark Davies. 


Monica’s favorite composers include Francis Poulenc, George Gershwin, and Kurt Weill.  Outside of music she enjoys hiking, painting, and watching baseball.
