Nehemiah Jones is an operatic Tenor, composer, and teacher in Bellingham, Washington, currently working towards his Bachelors degrees in Music Composition and Vocal Performance under the instruction of Dr. Richard Hodges. A Bellingham native, he began musical instruction in his middle school orchestra, choir, and drama programs. Nehemiah’s musical interests span a wide range of genres with a focus on classical, musical theatre, and jazz styles.

Nehemiah provides instruction to build vocal technique, and has experience in music theory and aural skills training. He strives to make lessons engaging and impactful experiences by expanding on his students primary interests. Some of his favorite composers include Maurice Ravel, Daniel Catán, and Karol Szymanowski. Outside of school, Nehemiah enjoys roller skating, hiking, and spending time with his partner and their dog, Denali.
