Rebecca McDaniel is a saxophonist currently studying music education at Western Washington University. As a military brat, she moved around a lot, but consistently found a home in the music classroom. From starting piano lessons in first grade to learning clarinet in middle school and pursuing saxophone collegiately, music has always been an integral part of Rebecca’s life. Rebecca currently plays soprano saxophone in a WWU saxophone quartet and alto saxophone in WWU’s symphonic winds and Jazz Combo. Outside of music, Rebecca can be found enjoying nature through running, walking, and/or hiking.
